Call To Order---Chuck McDowell, Chairman

Roll Call Of Members---Seven council members in attendance, two excused, as listed above.

Minutes---Executive and public minutes were approved as written for 4/17/2007.

Unfinished Business---Sheriff Proposal---Kevin reported on proposal to district the areas of the sheriff dept. He said that he will invite Sheriff Winder to come out and explain as soon as this is finalized with Sheriff Winder. Sam had further questions, but said she would address to Sheriff Winder at the appropriate time. Website---Chuck reported he has received bids on re-designing our website as well as monthly figures to maintain a webmaster. Shadow Consulting $4000.00 for re-design/$700 a month, New Visage $3000.00--$5000.00 for re-design/$600.00--$800.00 a month, Heirdman IVR.com $600.00 for re-design/$480.00 a month. Paula brought up question of where it came from the council would pay a webmaster. Chuck stated it has not been voted on, just discussed. Chuck suggested the council budget for $1500.00 for re-design and $150.00 per month for webmaster on a one-year contract. He reported that resident Jill Young has expressed interest to him to have the position of webmaster. She has several websites under her belt already and learning more. Jill Young in attendance. Al asked Jill if, in her opinion, our website needs improvement. Jill stated “yes, it does”. In lieu of time this issue was tabled till next meeting. Funding Proposal---Chuck said he is sending out via email an updated copy of our special funding projects. Suggestions of what we can spend this funding on. Sound System---Tabled. Council Pictures---Tabled. County Garbage Containers---Reported that they would start arriving 5/15/07 through 6/4/07.

New Business—Addition Reimbursement For Transportation Summit---Tabled.
