(Planner/designer) explained their plans.   Had a lively discussion from KCC

Members (Kent Markus, David Taylor Charles Henderson among some),

community citizens ( Ryan Smith, William Werr, Emily Van hazel, Lee

Rayburn), Keith Bradshaw (Granite school district), Carol Davis, Alison Bates,

concerning the plans.    Many were against the new road behind the houses.

Reasons were that: 1) The road would become a quick raceway for vehicles.

        2)  The houses lose their view of the valley due to the planting of the trees.

        3)  The homeowners lose their privacy due to the road being higher than their

homes.   4)   The road would become choked/clogged with parking vehicles

waiting for their children.  5)   The homeowners lose their security due to easy

viewing, access to and escape route of unsavory persons.   6)   A different shorter

road thru main parking lot.   7)    A wide walking path to eliminate the need to

walk along 6200 S., this would also help eliminate some vehicles.    Others

expressed the need for it, to ease the circle drop-off/pickup congestion.  Future

        discussion and meetings are planned.

Motion (Council members Brennan/Markus) to extend the meeting to 8:25 in order to complete KCC business. (7) –yes, (1) abs –Passed.
